From the inexperienced to the seasoned veteran the granite slabs of Redfish Canyon offers a variety of climbing terrain full of challenges and excitement. Trips start at 8:30 on the lawn in front of Redfish Lake Lodge.
The Redfish Boulder is the perfect place for new climbers to get on the rock! Climbs range from 20 to 50 feet high. We cover movement skills, proper use of climbing harnesses, basic knots and belaying, and of course, we climb! The program runs about 3 hours in a morning or afternoon session .Ages: 4 + accompanied by adult
Price: $70 per person, 3 person minimum. Includes technical gear and rock shoes
1000 foot routes on clean rock in an alpine setting. The Super Slabs have it all. No previous experience is required. To get to "the Slabs" we take the shuttle boat across Redfish Lake and hike for about an hour. After a solid morning of skills and equipment introduction we can either go for summit, or work closer to the ground, depending on abilities and interest levels. Ages: from 7+ (fee includes lunch and snacks, all technical equipment, and climbing shoes).
