Since 2001, this Class III whitewater trip has introduced thousands of families to the thrill of river running. We introduce the relaxing pace of ‘river-time‘ as we spend the day exploring the Class III family friendly rapids, and explore the Salmon River canyon.
Your Adventure Includes:
- Class III Rapids
- Leap off the iconic “Jump Rock”
- Explore the Salmon River Canyon
- A beautiful hike above Robinson Bar Ranch (We are the only company to offer this!)
Difficulty
Class III rapids are intermediate whitewater with moderate, irregular waves. Ideal for beginners! This trip is family friendly. Our SAC guides prioritize the safety for all of our customers every single time. Ages 4+

Food
Only available on our Full-Day excursions! Choose the full-day trip (by far SAC’s most popular adventure) to enjoy our famous Dutch oven lunch. Upon arrival at our river-side lunch camp guests will have the opportunity to play river games, relax in comfortable chairs and enjoy a spectacular lunch including our famous Dutch oven cakes, salads, pasta dishes, fruit, gourmet wraps, and more.
