Favorite thing about guiding: I love being able to work outside in nature and spend all day on the river, and I love to hear all the stories from all the cool people I meet!
Fun facts about me: I speak fluent German, my favorite animal is a black bear, I’m a nursing student, and I have a coffee addiction 🙂

Rex Hauptman | Golden, CO
Favorite thing about guiding: I am always ready and excited to get on the river no matter where and what craft. Because of an overnight trip on my 21st birthday, I’ve been chasing whitewater ever since. I love rowing down the canyons of Utah, paddle guiding technical rapids in Colorado, kayaking down in Costa Rica, or taking my 9 foot raft down Gualey River.
Fun facts about me: My favorite rapid is Pine Creek rapid in Colorado, which is a mile-long rapid on the Arkansas River.
